The Burleigh Bears scored 30 points for the third time in four matches, defeating the Norths Devils 30-12 at home in UAA Park.
Centre Deleni Paitai stood up for the Bears, scoring and assisting a try, in addition to running for 171 metres.
Paitai was one of three Bears to run for over 170 metres, joining Jasmin Morrissey and Brooke Saddler in the impressive feat.
Burleigh prop Teaghan Hartigan was also immense, scoring one try and assisting another to go along with a stout defensive effort.
In a very similar scoreline, the Sunshine Coast Falcons made it three on the trot, defeating the Mackay Cutters 30-14 at BB Print Stadium.
Sunshine Coast Falcons winger Larissa Crummer was incredible in this match, scoring a hat-trick and running for a staggering 242 metres in a stellar performance.
Despite the result, Emily Bella of the Cutters put in yet another gutsy effort, producing two try assists and making 25 tackles with none missed.
South from Mackay in Hervey Bay, the Wynnum Manly Seagulls got their first win of the season against the Central Queensland Capras, winning 20-16.
In a game of two halves, it was the Central Queensland Capras who found themselves dominating in the opening 35 minutes, racing out to a 16-4 lead courtesy of Tylah Phillips and Lilla Pratt.
Despite scoring three tries in quick succession in the second half, missed conversions would see scores levelled at 16-all, despite the Seagulls scoring four tries to the Capras three.
All tied up entering the match’s dying minutes, the Capras resilient goal line defence would finally be penetrated via a Tayla Sykes' harbour-bridge cut-out ball, sending Charlotte Vandermeer over for the match winning try.
In a clash between two clubs in their debut BMD Premiership seasons, it was the Northern Pride who put on a dominant performance, defeating the Ipswich Jets 42-10 at North Ipswich Reserve.
Fullback Ana Malupo stole the show with a ridiculous 110 metre try in the 23rd minute, also scoring in the 33rd minute.
Sareka Mooka put in another great performance in the middle, running for 153 metres in 14 hit ups, breaking six tackles in the process.
Discipline hurt the Jets in this matchup, conceding ten penalties to the Pride’s four.
Following their big win, the Pride have leapfrogged the Jets on the ladder, now sitting in 6th place.
In the most anticipated match of the season thus far, the Brisbane Tigers defeated the Souths Logan Magpies 18-14 at Davies Park.
The red-hot form of Evelyn Roberts shows no signs of cooling, as the five-eighth scored two tries to go along with a try assist and 132 run metres.
The winger duo of Courtney Robinson and Saupo-Mina Toeleiu is shaping up as the competition’s best, with the two Tigers flyers combining for 339 run metres and 13 tackle breaks.
Harlem Walker of the Souths Logan Magpies performed valiantly despite falling short in the end, as the Harvey Norman Queensland Under 19 representative ran for 193 metres and broke 12 tackles in her 70-minute performance.
The final match of Round 4 saw the Western Clydesdales 20 defeat the Tweed Seagulls 16.
In a brilliant game of rugby league, both sides traded blows, with scores levelled at 16 apiece with only five minutes left.
After the Seagulls turned the ball over at the Clydesdales 10 metre line, Georgia Sim would catch the ball from a scrum, wrong footing two Seagulls players and sprinting 90 metres for the game winning points.
Following their win, the Clydesdales now sit just outside of the top six, 10 differential points behind the Northern Pride.
