Family of League raising money for families in need

Family of League is offering punters the opportunity to be at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 28 for the kick off of the 2026 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Now in its third edition, the bucket list event will see the Bulldogs face the Dragons before the Knights play the Cowboys and Super League giants Hull KR and Leeds square off.

Family of League fundraising, partnerships and events manager Doug Keen said the Foundation was holding a raffle, to be drawn on December 22, offering people the chance to be there to see it all live.

Keen said he had been the past two years and it had been “an unbelievable experience”.

“Besides the football, when you're walking on the strip, there are people from all over the world - England, New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands - walking proudly with their football jerseys on,” Keen said.

“The ground is one of the best in the world and truly a unique experience to visit. I cannot wait to go back.”

Keen said for only $20, people had the opportunity to be there with him, whilst also helping raise money to help ensure those most in need in the rugby league community could access financial, social and emotional support.

The prize is two diamond tickets to the games, return flights from Sydney or Brisbane for two people, great accommodation for five nights, as well as airport and hotel transfers.

“The camaraderie on the street walking along the strip, seeing so many people in NRL and other rugby league jerseys, is amazing,” Keen said.

“For those who have not been to Las Vegas, it’s truly a unique place to visit… so entertaining.

“By purchasing a Family of League raffle ticket, you’ll not only be in the running to win this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you’ll also be helping us support those in rugby league community doing it tough.”
Big thanks to Family of League corporate member Craig Brown from The Rugby League Experience, who donated this amazing prize.
