UPDATE: The 2026 Ford x Maroons Road Trip

UPDATE: Charters Towers and Townsville, we’ve got an important update for you.

While Charters Towers will no longer go ahead, there are changes in place for Townsville. Here’s what you need to know.

Due to ongoing wet weather conditions in North Queensland, there have been changes to the Charters Towers and Townsville stops on the 2026 Ford x Maroons Road Trip.

CHARTERS TOWERS

Unfortunately, the Charters Towers stop has been cancelled due to wet weather and in the interest of team safety.

We thank the local community for their understanding and look forward to returning in the future.

TOWNSVILLE

Carmichael Ford
77 Charters Towers Road, Hermit Park, 11am – 1pm

While weather has forced a change of plans for Townsville, we’re still bringing the Maroons spirit to town.

The scheduled junior rugby league clinic will no longer go ahead, but fans are invited to join us at a new location for a special meet and greet experience.

Come down and meet your Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons representatives Romy Teitzel and Makenzie Weale, snap a photo with the State of Origin Shield, enjoy a BBQ thanks to Carmichael Ford and get your hands on giveaways on the day.

We can’t wait to see the Townsville community there as the Road Trip rolls on.

Due to weather conditions, we have an update for our stop in Townsville as part of the Ford x Maroons Road Trip.
