Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons 2026 Game III Squad

The Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons have named their squad for Game III of the 2026 Women’s State of Origin series, with Queensland set to return home for the final match of the campaign at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.

Despite the results across the opening two matches, the Maroons have produced two spirited and highly competitive performances throughout the series, narrowly falling short on both occasions against a strong New South Wales outfit.

Queensland will be without their captain, Tamika Upton, star winger, Julia Robinson and heavy-hitter Makenzie Weale for Game III after the trio of players sustained injuries during Game II of the series.

The squad includes two debutants in Destiny Mino-Sinapati and Lillian Yarrow, who have both impressed throughout the Maroons’ training camps and are committed to the Origin environment.

Coach Nathan Cross said there was enormous belief within the group heading into the final match of the series.

“We know the strength and quality that exists within this group and while it’s been tough not to come away with the wins so far, the performances have shown exactly what this side is capable of,” Cross said.

“It’s also been really exciting to see some of the younger players and debutants come into the environment and handle the Origin arena so well.

There’s a really promising future for Queensland women’s rugby league and we’ve got full faith in this team to go out there, get the job done and put on one heck of a show for Queenslanders.
