Before the sun came up on Friday morning, QRL staff joined the Burleigh Bears community to row 42 kilometres in support of Jacek “Yak” McLaurin.
It was a privilege to stand alongside players, volunteers, staff and community members, all united behind one goal - supporting Yak and his family.
Rugby league is built on community, and moments like these are a powerful reminder of the way our game comes together when it matters most.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated and showed their support. Wishing Yak continued strength throughout his recovery.
