Queensland’s biggest day of club rugby league is one step closer, with tickets to the 2026 Grand Final Day at Kayo Stadium officially on sale from today.
Fans will witness the crowning of the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership champions when Queensland's premier male and female competitions reach their thrilling conclusion at Redcliffe on Saturday, September 26.
A proud community-focused event, QRL Grand Final Day combines big-game energy with a festival atmosphere, bringing together fans, families and clubs from across the state for a ‘Super Saturday’ of finals footy.
The Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership continue to serve as important pathways to the NRL and NRLW, with both competitions boasting a strong record of developing elite players, coaches, administrators and referees.
With four rounds remaining in the Hostplus Cup regular season, as many as 11 clubs remain in contention for premiership glory.
Following the conclusion of the home-and-away season, the top eight teams will go head to head over three weeks before two clubs earn the right to compete for the premiership trophy on Grand Final Day.
The 2026 BMD Premiership season will also culminate with a top six finals format commencing on the weekend of September 12-13.
Tickets for the unmissable finale to Queensland’s rugby league season are now available, with family admission starting from just $60.
QRL Competitions Manager David Maiden said Grand Final Day had become one of the standout events on the Queensland rugby league calendar.
“QRL Grand Final Day is a celebration of everything that makes our game special,” Maiden said.
“It brings together the state's best male and female teams, passionate fans, volunteers, families and clubs for an unforgettable day of rugby league.
“Both the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership have continued to grow in strength and quality, and we're excited to see how the race to the finals unfolds over the coming weeks.
“With so many clubs still in contention across both competitions, there is plenty at stake and we expect another thrilling finals series leading into the big day at Kayo Stadium.”
