The Queensland Rugby League family will come together in Brisbane this evening to honour the outstanding achievements of the players and people who have made their mark across the game.
Six new life members will be announced, celebrating their exceptional service and contribution to rugby league in Queensland.
The competition for individual honours has been fierce from the outset, with the QRL’s best statewide competition players battling for the prestigious Petero Civoniceva Medal (Hostplus Cup) and Steph Hancock Medal (BMD Premiership).
With an abundance of standout performers across the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership, the competition for Team of the Year spots has also been intense.
The next generation of Queensland stars will also take centre stage, with the evening to recognise the best across the Under 17 and Under 19 pathways.
Alongside these young guns are the players they look up to, with Queensland’s Origin heroes set to be recognised as well.
With the grand final teams also assembled in the room, the evening will provide another opportunity to celebrate the players, coaches and teams who have reached the pinnacle of their respective competitions before they battle it out at Kayo Stadium this Saturday.
