Kangaroo Rugby League Club and the Queensland Rugby League are rallying behind injured player Ambrose Clarke.

Clarke, a talented A grade player with Kangaroos, sustained a fracture to his vertebrae during a game this season.

Despite his injury, Clarke supported the A grade team as manager and continued to coach the club’s Under 16 team, guiding them to the premiership once his injury settled down.

The 23-year-old has been unable to work since the injury, and at this point it is unknown whether he will play rugby league again.

To assist with his recovery, the club is taking bids for two professionally framed Queensland Maroons State of Origin jerseys.

See flyer for further auction details:

*Minimum bid $2000 per jersey. Bidding closes on November 30 at 5pm.
