The Queensland Academy of Sport supports the game in QLD via the Emerging Origin Squad. With players from NRL clubs assembling for a three-day camp in late January annually. The players are put through their paces under the guidance of QAS Rugby League Head Coach Wayne Bennett and Maroons Coach Mal Meninga. The QAS is a great supporter of the League and our future State of Origin success!

FOGS is a non-profit organisation founded by the late Richard 'Tosser' Turner in 1997. The FOGS are committed to a number of community initiatives and offer assistance to many charities and various causes each year. The organisation is also dedicated to assisting to 'Close the Gap' in the areas of education and employment between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. FOGS membership is exclusive to the elite group of players who have represented Queensland at State of Origin level since its inception in 1980.

Deadly Choices also encourages our people to access their local Community Controlled Health Service and complete an annual ‘Health Check’.

Containers for Change provides an exciting opportunity for QRL Clubs; helping to raise much needed funds. 

Container Exchange (COEX), has established a convenient and accessible network of container refund points across the state of more than 230 sites for recycling. These refund points are operated by a range of different businesses or organisations for the purpose of providing a place where customers can return eligible containers in exchange for a 10 cent refund.
