THE Sunshine Coast Caloundra RSL A Grade Cup has been blown wide open with another round of shock results across the coast.

The biggest shock of the round came when the Bribie Island Sea Eagles dismantled the Kawana Dolphins 52-12 at Bernie Foley Oval.

Kyle Van Klaveren, Scott Millar and Paul McKewin all scored doubles for the Sea Eagles as Bribie inflicted Kawanas second loss in a row.

The Dolphins had seemed untouchable until the past two rounds, but two straight losses to the reigning premiers has seen them give up their outright competition lead, with Bribie and Gympie now sitting on top of the leader board with the Dolphins.

Gympie took their chance to move up to the top, claiming the two points with a 30-22 win over the Caloundra Sharks.

The race has also tightened further down the ladder, with Maroochydore defeating the Caboolture Snakes 14-6 to move level with Caboolture on the ladder.

Mark Cook grabbed two tries for Maroochydore in the tight win that could yet have implications on who will play finals football between the two sides later in the year.

In the remaining game from the weekend, the Nambour Crushers were too strong for the Noosa Pirates, running out 44-10 winners.

Sunshine Coast/Gympie results:

Round 10: Nambour 44 def Noosa 10, Maroochydore-Coolum 14 def Caboolture 6, Gympie 30 def Caloundra 22, Bribie Is/Sea Eagles 52 def Kawana 12.

**Points: Kawana 16, Bribie Island 16, Gympie 16, Caboolture 10, Maroochydore-Coolum 10, Nambour 8, Noosa 4, Caloundra 0.
