QUEENSLAND Rugby League sponsor XXXX has teamed up with eight venues across Queensland to celebrate the Maroons record-breaking eight-straight State of Origin series win.
Maroons fans across the state are invited to taste Origin victory in the form of a XXXX at selected venues in Brisbane, Townsville, Mackay, Gladstone, Toowoomba, Caboolture and Ipswich from 8pm, tonight (Friday, July 19).
A Queensland former Origin great will join in the celebrations at selection of the venues, including the likes of Kerrod Walters, Tonie Carroll, Gary Larson and Billy Moore at The Caxton.
Geoff Cockerill, XXXX Regional Director said it was an achievement worth celebrating.
Were passionate supporters of rugby league and State of Origin at XXXX, he said.
Eight State of Origin series wins in a row by the XXXX Maroons is an extraordinary effort which we feel deserves celebration with Queenslands favourite beer!
