The Quilpie Magpies are celebrating back-to-back Western League premierships after scoring a memorable 36-12 victory over Charleville.
Last weekends grand final was the first ever premiership decider held at Quilpie, and the home team didnt disappoint their loyal fans.
It was massive, Magpies coach Brendo Horstem said of the crowd and the home support.
They were all there ... black and white (colours) everywhere.
After losing the 2011 grand final to Charleville, the Magpies turned the tables on their rivals with a gutsy win in last years decider.
To win (in 2012) was a great achievement, but to back it up and win again just takes it to another level.
Horstem said it was impossible to single out any individuals as his entire playing group put in a committed and whole hearted performance.
The Magpies scored seven tries to two, with Brendon Andrews and Pat Nicholson crossing for doubles for the victorious Quilpie team.
