Clayton Sharpe will referee his third Intrust Super Cup grand final when he controls the 2013 premiership decider between the Easts Tigers and Mackay Cutters this weekend.
The 34-year-old former Gladstone whistleblower will become the first referee to be appointed to back-to-back Cup grand finals since Tony Maksoud (1998/99/2000).
Maksoud will be the video referee for the ninth time in a grand final, while Steve Kanoswki and Andrew Wareham will support Sharpe on the lines.
Sharpe (pictured) will be presented with the prestigious Nick Euclid Medal following Sundays grand final at the North Ipswich Reserve.
