WITH the club having embraced a new direction, the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles will be hoping to turn their fortunes around next season under new coach Ivan Henjak.


The former Broncos coach has previously guided the Toowoomba Clydesdales in the statewide competition and will provide valuable experience to his young team.


The club have signed a number of players from the local Sunshine Coast / Gympie competition while Jaz Nahu Main returns to the coast following a stint with the Redcliffe Dolphins.


Former Gatton Hawk Jason Wilmot, who was man of the match in last years Toowoomba Rugby League grand final has also signed on with the club.


Their major losses are Martin Cordwell to the Dolphins and Jye Ballinger to Easts Tigers.
