Gayndah hosted a triple header in the Central Burnett competition on Saturday with a large crowd in attendance.

Mundubbera played a strong attacking Cherbourg side which saw a close game as Cherbourg went into the break at 18-6 in front.

But with Mundubbera's supporters barracking loud, they lifted in the second but were cut short in the last 15 minutes as Cherbourg ran away in a close game with Arthur Saltner scoring under the posts to wrap up a 28-16 win.

In the second game, Nanango defeated Gayndah 56-10.

The third game saw undefeated Theodore Roosters play against a strong and fit looking Wondai Wolves side.

In one of the games of the season, these two strong teams were neck and neck right through the whole game.

Going into the half time break, Wondai Wolves were leading 18-16 but in the second half Wondai kept their momentum going until Theodore Roosters attack proved too strong as Rhett Allen scored under the posts and Stanley Bligh converted to give the Roosters their fourth straight win.
