Queensland Rugby League Managing Director Rob Moore has today issued a statement regarding the overnight judiciary hearing for NSW Blues and Canterbury Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds who successfully downgraded his charge and will not miss any games.

"We fully understand the current backlash from both well respected judges and in particular Maroons supporters,” Moore said.

"The Queensland Rugby League believe the initial finding from the NRL Match Committee was correct and consistent with similar tackles in the game at present.

“However, we accept there is a process for all of these controversial matters. Whilst we don't agree with the final outcome, we will accept the decision and concentrate on the job of preparing for the next game in Sydney."

The Queensland Rugby League will be making no further comment on this matter.
