THE Redcliffe Dolphins will be co-ordinating the nominations of ball kids for the upcoming QAIHC Arthur Beetson Foundation Murri Rugby League Carnival.

The carnival will be held at the Dolphins facilities across the Dick ‘Tosser’ Turner Complex and Dolphin Oval at the end of this month.

Starting on Thursday, September 25 and running each day through to and including Sunday, September 28; these dates are the final four days of the September school holidays.

To assist with the co-ordination of games, ball kids are required at each of the Women’s, Under 15s and Men’s competition games each day.

First games start at 9am daily, with the final games of the day finishing off at 7pm.

Due to the long schedule for each day, ball kids will be sorted in to early and late shifts based on their availability for each day.

Grand final games will be played on Dolphin Oval with live coverage by NITV (Indigenous TV).

The last game of the carnival will be played live on TV starting at 4pm.

Ball kids will be provided with a special shirt to be worn when being a ball kid at the carnival and a Redcliffe Dolphins Snapback.

They can wear either plain black shorts or their Redcliffe Dolphins playing shorts with footy boots/joggers.

Lunch and drinks will be provided to each child on the day they are on duty.

At the end of the carnival, each ball kid will also receive a thank you gift from the QAIHC Arthur Beetson Foundation Murri Rugby League Carnival coordinators and a Certificate of Participation.

If you have a child who is available and happy to assist aged between 10 and 16 years of age, nominate them to Dolphins staff member Kirsty Fields via phone or email so that a schedule can be organised and shirts ordered.
