A total of 163, 178 viewers on Channel 9 watched the Northern Pride defeat Easts Tigers 36-4 in front of more than 7000 fans at Suncorp Stadium.
Country fans in particular soaked up the Pride’s momentous victory.
The regional market attracted 90, 291 viewers, surpassing last week’s record for regional ratings.
This season also saw an overall increase of 3009 viewers, representing a 4.3% boost from last season.
