Queensland Rugby League will break new ground when it hosts the inaugural Women’s Leadership Seminar at the Sunshine Coast’s Novotel Twin Waters Resort tomorrow.

Held in conjunction with the QRL Administration Conference, a record number of local league delegates and guests will engage with QRL/NRL staff and leading presenters across the weekend.

With active volunteers making up a large percentage of the 488 confirmed attendees across the three days, the events will provide a significant boost for grassroots rugby league.

Tomorrow’s Women’s Leadership Seminar aims to elevate the participation of women in positions of leadership within sport.

The QRL Administration Conference offers a cutting edge development opportunity, covering the latest advances within the game, relevant progressions within the sporting arena and insight from a range of respected industry leaders.

A key presenter over the weekend is Australian Business Hall of Fame inductee Chandra Clements, who has worked across 28 countries in nine industries.

Incredibly, she has spoken on more than 90 stages around the globe.

Watch the QRL TV video for an insight into her presentations.
