Wynnum Manly Redland City and Ipswich will contest the Brisbane Rugby League grand final after both earned a spot with contrasting wins on the weekend.

The Seagulls got past Easts Tigers 30-28 in a golden point thriller at BMD Kougari Oval.  

Tigers five-eighth Mackenzie Reid scored in the final minute of regular time to level the scoreboard at 28-all before a penalty goal to Lachlan Bristow saw WMRC home in the second period of extra-time.  

Meanwhile, the Jets recovered from an early 10-nil deficit to run away with a 44-16 victory over Gaters at North Ipswich Reserve.

Outside back Pat McCallum scored his second hat-trick in the space of a fortnight.
