The Mackay Cutters are set to field a new-look side next season, with incoming coach David Simpson looking far and wide to boost his squad for 2016.

The NQ side have lost some key performers from the 2015 season including Chris Gesch and Cameron Cullen to other Intrust Super Cup clubs; but have actively recruited to fill the void - including signing four players from Canberra club West Belconnen Warriors.
