Mudgeeraba Redbacks junior Hayden Schwass continues to stride towards the NRL after winning the Queensland Intrust Super Cup premiership in 2016 with the Burleigh Bears.

The second row forward also played 20 games in 2015 with the Titans NYC team who just missed out on a finals berth.

A strong work ethic has seen Schwass get an opportunity to realise his NRL aspirations, earning a 'train and trial' contract with the Gold Coast Titans NRL squad over the summer, training under Neil Henry alongside the likes of Chris McQueen and Jarryd Hayne.
