Queensland Maroons skipper Cameron Smith has become the most successful player in NRL history, surpassing former captain Darren Lockyer with 238 career wins.
Last night’s 28-6 win over the Panthers saw the Storm captain move into the No.1 spot for most wins by any players in rugby league history.
In a further testament to the future immortal, Smith’s career winning percentage now stands at 70%.
Fellow Queenslander Cooper Cronk also now sits third after overtaking Bulldogs great Terry Lamb with the 214th win of his career.
Billy Slater is the third Storm player to be included in the top 10, joining Norm Provan and Steve Menzies on 196 wins.
