Logan Brothers Rugby League Club was the setting for a special announcement this week.

And fittingly, it was the club’s most decorated player – record-breaking Queensland Maroons skipper Cameron Smith – who was on hand to deliver the big news to the excited group of Under 10 players.

Standing on the very turf he played on more than two decades ago, Smith took great delight in informing the players of their selection to represent Queensland in the 2017 Holden Junior State of Origin at Suncorp Stadium.

Thanks to this wonderful initiative by Holden, these talented juniors are now gearing up to play against Dave Klemmer’s junior NSW club at half-time of the May 31 Origin opener.
