Renowned author Steve Haddan will explore the history of the Brisbane Rugby League when he delivers the 2017 Ross Livermore Lecture next month.

Hosted by the QRL History Committee, the May 27 event is free to the public and will this year be held in the Rugby League Central Queensland (RLCQ) building for the first time.

Haddan, who recently released the best-selling “Our Game: The Celebration of Brisbane Rugby League 1909-1987” – will bring this golden chapter of league history to life in his presentation.

He will tell the story of the champion players and great clubs, the big matches, rivalries and controversies.
