PNG Kumuls coach Michael Marum has announced his 18-man squad for next weekend’s Pacific Test against the Cook Island Kukis in Campbelltown.
The side features four NRL contracted players, including Nene McDonald from the St George Illawarra Dragons and Bulldogs duo, Rod Griffin and Rhys Martin.
The majority of the side comes from the PNG Hunters, with 10 players also named in the squad.
Other Cup players to gain selection include hard-running forward Luke Page from Burleigh Bears, centre Thompson Teteh from Redcliffe, Sunshine Coast Falcons / Melbourne Storm winger Justin Olam and Richard Pandia of the Ipswich Jets. Easts Tigers hooker Tommy Butterfield also makes his return to the national side.
