QRL Media caught up with larrikins Steve and Kerrod Walters, brothers of Maroons coach Kevin, for their thoughts on Game II and they were typically full of wisecracks and good-natured ribbing of their brother and each other.
"I should be coaching - they've got the wrong twin," Kerrod joked after an insightful comment, referring to his wombmate Kevin.
Steve teased that Kerrod's observation about the Maroons was unusually coherent.
Kerrod and Steve played hooker for Queensland and Australia and Kevin served in the halves, also for his state and country. Steve is the Maroons team manager.
The XXXX Queensland Maroons play the NSW Blues tonight (Wednesday, June 21) in Sydney in Game II of State of Origin. The Blues won Game I of the three-match series in Brisbane last month.
