The stage is set for the final day of the TJS Services QRL State Junior Championships after a successful Day 3 (Saturday, July 1) at the Sunshine Coast.

In the Under 14 Boys division, Central and SEQ Green will battle it out for this year’s title after impressive wins yesterday against Northern and SEQ White.

In the 3 v 4 Final, SEQ White will try to avenge their Day 1 loss to the Marlins when they clash this morning.

The Central Crows Under 14 Girls have all but secured this year’s title with one game to play this morning.

Whilst it is still mathematically possible for Northern to steal the title from the ‘home side’, they have a tough challenge on their hands, having to win both halves in the two games scheduled by a considerable margin.

Day 3's Under 16 Boys matches were absolute nail-biters with both decided by only two points on the siren.

Today’s finals will see a repeat of yesterday’s games with Central and Northern clashing in the 3 v 4 final and a battle of the two South East teams in the decider at 12.15pm.

Following Northern’s gallant second half effort against Central in the Under 16 Girls yesterday, the SEQ Water Dragons have secured this year’s title on points, and will face off against Central this morning in the hope of finishing the carnival undefeated.

Be sure to catch today’s Under 14 and 16 Boys grand finals on QRL.com.au via the QRL Live Stream page from 11.10am.
