The Australian, Queensland and Melbourne Storm captain denied winning the Golden Boot award would come into calculations when he decides whether he would continue to play representative football and is happy just to soak it up and enjoy the moment.
Smith was humbled to receive the award and payed tribute to the other nominees; Jason Taumalolo, Jermaine McGillvary and Suliasi Vunivalu.
