Puppy love
Away on Queensland Origin duty, Dylan Napa must be missing his new bulldog puppy, Julio. The Maroons forward posted the pic of his new pup before he headed of to camp (NRL.com is also happy to babysit Julio anytime, Dylan!).
QLD brotherhood
And speaking of QLD, Andrew McCullough and Greg Inglis showed they were extremely proud of their Origin call ups, and rightly so!
"Dreams do come true - this doesn't happen without wife and my amazing supportive family," McCullough wrote.
Inglis, who was named captain of the Queensland side, was also overcome with emotion.
"What a great honour to be leading the mighty Maroons out next Wed at the MCG. Back to where my football career started in Melbourne, and to go back and lead the boys out will be a massive highlight in my life.
Halfway point
With rugby league into round 13 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, New Zealand Warriors five-eighth Blake Green took some time to reflect on his first season with his new club.
Moysa with the assist
We may have found the secret behind Matt Moylan's six try assists in last week's win over the Knights. He and teammate Wade Graham wore their Mark Hughes Foundation beanies on the way to Newcastle.
Clint Gutherson and Kaysa Pritchard were all smiles during a visit from a local Parramatta Mission.
Baby Blues
This week also marked a special time for 11 NSW Blues debutants with all excited for Wednesday's game one.
Latrell Mitchell wrote "building up now, love the week, few days to go till big dance.
Boys loving the colour!"
Naturally, the Penrith Panthers are pretty proud of their playmakers Nathan Cleary and James Maloney.
Kiwi Connection
Former Kiwi international teammates, forever mates. Canterbury Bulldog Greg Eastwood wished his buddy Issac Luke a happy birthday across the ditch.
