QRL State Carnival Final Day results

The SEQ Poinsettias claimed the honours in this year’s QRL State Carnival in the Men’s A Grade division, after sealing the title with a strong win in the final game of the over rivals Souths East Queensland.

Magpies Lenny Magey scored a hat-trick in the match, but it was team-mate Bailey Butler who took the Player of the Carnival award.

It was a successful tournament for the region with the Women’s honours being wrapped up earlier in the day with the South East Queensland Women overpowering Northern 28-0 with West Brisbane Panther Kazzia Lammon also picking herself up three tries.
