Kasiano monsters his way into Intrust Super Cup

One of the National Rugby League's most physically imposing players will return from injury via the Intrust Super Cup.

The Melbourne Storm has confirmed Sam Kasiano, listed as 126kg and 195cm, will play for the Easts Tigers against the Sunshine Coast Falcons in a make-or-break game for both clubs on Sunday at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Sam Kasiano returns for Easts Tigers

Kasiano has missed almost two months of football since rupturing the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his knee while playing for Samoa against Tonga in the Pacific Test.

On the opposing side, lining up for the Falcons, is expected to be Sandor Earl, who has suffered a succession of injuries on both knees.

After rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) last November, Earl suffered a deep cork to his other knee in the recent Country Week fixture against Mackay in Bowen.

Kick-off on Sunday between the Sunshine Coast and Easts is 2pm.
