Brisbane Broncos to unlock historic moment

The NRL Women's Broncos will again create history by receiving Brisbane's Keys to the City tomorrow (Friday, October 5).

Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will present the award to 2018 captain Ali Brigginshaw, vice captain Brittany Breayley and team.

The presentation will take place in Reddacliff Place from 11.30am, with the public urged to arrive earlier to have the chance to get an autograph or photo opportunity with their favourite NRLW players.

The Broncos proved too strong for the Roosters in Sunday's inaugural NRL Holden Women's grand final winning the match 34-12.

The Queensland team went through their four-game season undefeated in scoring 110 points while only conceding 30.

Five-eighth Kimiora Nati won the Karyn Murphy Medal for player of the Grand Final with a three-try performance, but sadly will not be able to attend due to rep commitments having been selected in the Kiwi Ferns Test squad.

If you would like to join in on the festivities:

Date: Friday, October 5, 2018
Time: 11am – 12noon
Location: Reddacliff Place, 266 George Street Brisbane

The Broncos would like to acknowledge the generous support of a number of commercial partners who supported the team - National Storage, ISC, Arrow, Deadly Choices, Oil Search and Pathways Homes.
