Change is coming to the Intrust Super Cup in season 2019.

Next year’s season draw will be released on QRL.com.au at 10am this Wednesday (December 12) – and Intrust Super Cup followers can anticipate some exciting new developments in the way the competition is structured.

Rugby league fans can also look forward to their favourite feature rounds lighting up the draw again next year, as well as some new ones; with the Intrust Super Cup committed to highlighting and promoting important causes and events.

The Indigenous Appreciation round games will again coincide with NAIDOC Week; with Women in League Round, the Anzac Round weekend and the hugely popular ‘Get in the Game’ Country Week round all locked in.

The opening weekend of the season is rapidly approaching with Intrust Super Cup clubs today sharing their Round 1 match-ups to help whet the appetites of their fans.

The Round 1 match-ups are listed below:

Round 1 (March 9-10)

  • Souths Logan Magpies v CQ Capras
  • Easts Tigers v Mackay Cutters
  • Norths Devils v Burleigh Bears
  • Ipswich Jets v Townsville Blackhawks
  • Tweed Heads Seagulls v PNG Hunters
  • Northern Pride v Redcliffe Dolphins
  • Sunshine Coast Falcons v Wynnum Manly Seagulls

> QRL.com.au will have the full 2019 Intrust Super Cup draw available to view on Wednesday, December 12, from 10am (QLD time).

> QRL.com.au will also be the only place to see the full Hastings Deering Colts and Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup draw when they are released on Thursday, December 13 from 10am (QLD time).
