Retiring skipper Hancock scoops the pool

The sporting achievements of Northern Pride players were celebrated at their end-of-season presentation dinner held recently at Level 2, Brothers Leagues Club Auditorium in Cairns.

Pride co-captain Tom Hancock cleaned up on the night winning Player of the Year, Players Player, Members Player of the Year and Best Forward awards.

Hancock was one the club's top performers with 689 tackles while Matthew Musumeci scored seven tries and halfback Jordan Biondi-Odo booted 18 goals and registered 44 points for the season.

Young gun Tom McGrath who made his Pride debut during Country Week in April on Thursday Island won the Hastings Deering Colts Player of the Year award at QRL Awards gala evening in Brisbane on September 27.
