Get on board the 2020 P&O Maroon Members cruise

Queenslanders, it's time to get on board the P&O Cruises 2020 Maroon Members and Fans Cruise.

The four-night cruise - following the success of the 2019 cruise - kicks off December 15, 2020, with the Pacific Explorer travelling to the Whitsundays with a bevy of Queensland Maroons legends on board.

Maroons great Sam Thaiday and Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons weapon Meg Ward will be two of several stars cruising off the coast of Queensland, mixing and mingling with fans.

"It was an amazing experience in 2019 on board the P&O Pacific Dawn with our Maroon Members and fans," Ward said.

"Spending time one on one with them was such a rewarding experience and my partner Tash and I were blown away by their passion.

"I can’t wait to until 2020 and the Maroons Members and Fans Cruise to Airlie Beach."

P&O sales and marketing vice-president Ryan Taibel said P&O was excited to have the Pacific Explorer in Brisbane from October next year.

"And even more so to be cruising to the Whitsundays in December for the Maroon Members Cruise," Taibel said.

"This year we had more than 70 passionate members and fans join us for the  inaugural Maroon Members and Fans Cruise and we are looking to have more than 200 members on board in 2020.

"It will be an action-packed four nights with some of Queensland's greatest Maroons legends and a fantastic chance for members to get up close to these legends through the numerous events we hold."

On the cruise, during school holidays leading up to Christmas, there will be exclusive events for members and fans, including meet and greets and a Q&A session with Maroons greats.

Verified members will also receive $100 per cabin, of on board credit.

Tickets are now on sale online.

The ship check-in is December 15, 2020, from noon until 3pm at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, and the ship will set sail at 4pm.

Fans will disembark the ship in Brisbane on December 19, 2020, from 7.30am.
