Statement: Junior incident

Rugby League Brisbane has confirmed with the Queensland Rugby League that spectators were involved in an incident during yesterday’s Under 13 match between Wynnum Manly and Logan Brothers at Kitchener Park.

Reports received today have confirmed police and ambulance officers were called to the ground.

Both RLB and the QRL acknowledge the serious nature of this incident and will ensure a thorough investigation and response in accordance with the game’s rules and code of conduct, while respecting the matter is also under investigation by the police.

Due to these factors, the clubs, RLB and QRL are unable to provide any further comment at this time.
