Mam's the man for Souths Logan Magpies

Intrust Super Cup Rookie of the Year winner Ezra Mam capped off an excellent season by being named the Pat Phelan Memorial club player of the year at the recent Souths Logan Magpies awards.

Mam - who started the year in the Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup before progressing into the Intrust Super Cup where he made big splash in the competition - was acknowledged alongside other players in the Cup, Hastings Deering Colts and Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup.

Awarded Hastings Deering Player of the Year winner at the recent QRL Awards, forward Cruise Ten took out the honour for his club and was also handed a Magpies Ring Award.

In his first season in charge of the Intrust Super Cup side, coach Steve Bretherton claimed the Montgomery Lister club person of the year, becoming the first back-to-back winner of the award.
