The Western Clydesdales were at their dominant best at home last Saturday, defeating the Northern Pride 30-14.
Front rower Zoe Cook scored double-digit points for the second week running, once again serving as the heartbeat of this Clydesdales side.
Eliza Morcom made the most of her time off the bench, running for 86 metres and making a team-high 20 tackles.
For the Pride, Nadia Windleborn got through an impressive amount of work after captaining the Harvey Norman Under-19 Queensland Women, making 23 tackles while providing creativity at the ruck.
New kids on the block, the Ipswich Jets continue to show great connection amongst themselves, downing the Tweed Seagulls 20-10 at Seagulls Sporting Complex.
Jets hooker Pearl Tuitama was immense in this match, scoring a try and topping the Jets’ tackle count with 27.
Pauline To’o on the wing was also impressive, with the Under 19 Queensland representative crossing for a try in addition to her 104 run metres.
The Souths Logan Magpies have so far asserted themselves as the team to beat this year, dominating the Burleigh Bears en route to a 26-4 victory on the Gold Coast.
Magpies centre Sienna Ibrahim ran for an astonishing 202 metres, while lock Keira Rangi ran for 193 metres through the middle.
Prop April Ngatupuna built on her impressive Round 1 showing, breaking five tackles in her 124 run metres gained.
Despite the heavy loss, Burleigh forward Zara Canfield still got through a mountain of work in the middle, running for 147 metres and completing 22 tackles.
In the battle of the birds, it was the Sunshine Coast Falcons who defeated the Wynnum Manly Seagulls, with the home side winning 20-14.

Falcons’ winger Sophie Zipf scored a double, with her first try being a stellar effort in which the winger dived before the try line and secured the ball in mid-air to score the first points of the game.
On the edges, Shanae Gray dominated for the Falcons, making two line breaks and breaking eight tackles in her 66 minutes on the field.
Seagulls’ halfback Tayla Skyes was impressive in a losing side, assisting a try and making 25 tackles with only one miss.
The Norths Devils are making a statement to begin the year after falling short in the 2024 Grand Final, as they thumped the Central Queensland Capras 36-4 in Rockhampton.
After the Capras held on in the first half, the eight-point deficit quickly became unassailable as the Devils pulled away in the second half.
The women from North Brisbane piled on 18 points in a 13 minute stretch, as Rowena Koonwaiyou would score the final try late in the match, sealing a dominant win for the Devils.
The final match of the round would see the Brisbane Tigers win by 26 points against the Mackay Cutters at Totally Workwear Stadium.
Racing out to a 20-nil lead by the end of the first half, the Tigers were dominant defensively, laying out plenty of big hits in Round 2’s broadcasted match.
Tigers’ five-eighth Evelyn Roberts was equally fierce in defence as she was in attack, laying on huge cover tackles in addition to crossing for a try early in the second half.
Edge back rower Narikah Orchard was just as damaging, making two line breaks and breaking six tackles in addition to her strong effort in defence.
