‘Grassroots to Glory’ has Queensland rugby league covered in 2026!
Hosted by passionate Queensland sports presenter Peter Fegan, Grassroots to Glory airs every Friday at midday on SENQ 693, or via the SEN app.
The show places a regular spotlight on the players and coaches involved in Queensland’s premier male and female statewide competitions, as well as those you lead community rugby league clubs and leagues.
This year’s show will also shine a light on the unsung heroes who are in contention for Community Volunteer Awards, proudly supported by Westpac.
Listeners can hear insights from Former Origin Greats (FOGS), like Wally Lewis who was a guest on last week’s show, along with QRL chief executive officer Ben Ikin.
Former Gold Coast Titans coach Jimmy Lenihan will join the Grassroots to Glory show this Friday.
Lenihan, now coaching the Brisbane Tigers in the Hostplus Cup, is a staunch rugby league man whose roots stretch back to his time as a talented junior in Ipswich.
Lenihan has won multiple premierships throughout community and statewide competitions, and will be sure to provide listeners with a fantastic insight into his rugby league journey, as well as the Tigers’ Hostplus Cup prospects in 2026.
You can listen LIVE each Friday at midday on SENQ 693am or via the SEN app.
