Two elimination finals will kick-start a breathtaking BMD Premiership finals series this weekend.
At UAA Park on Saturday, the Burleigh Bears (third) will host the Mackay Cutters (sixth) for the right to move into the following weekend’s preliminary final against the Brisbane Tigers.
The second elimination final on Sunday will see the Souths Logan Magpies (fourth) up against the Ipswich Jets (fifth) at Davies Park.
The winner of the Magpies versus Jets clash will take on the minor premiership-winning Norths Devils at Premiers’ Park on September 19.
A grand final appearance at Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium on Saturday, September 26 awaits the two preliminary final winners.
