10.37am: Corey Parker ruled out

The luckless Maroons receive another injury blow as Corey Parker breaks the news that he's out of the Sydney clash.

11.22am: Dave Taylor joins Camp Maroon

Following Parker's withdrawal, speculation mounts that Dave Taylor will join the squad. The Maroons camp confirms Taylor's selection, with the big Titans forward now in the running to play his seventh Origin match. 

3.58pm: Dave Taylor interview

The "Coaltrain" arrives at Sanctuary Cove. Many Queensland fans have been crying out for his recall on social media and they've now got their wish.

DCE is "hopeful" of taking the field for Game 2 and says he will give himself every possible chance, but the final call will rest with Mal and the medical staff.

The Maroons fullback says he won't get a genuine gauge on where his shoulder injury is at unitl he hits the training paddock. That opportunity will come tomorrow afternoon when the Maroons train at Sanctuary Cove.
