The Outback Motorhome has finished a successful stint in Longreach as part of the recent 7’s carnival won by Brisbane’s Easts Tigers.

The Motorhome was an obvious focal point at the carnival but also on the trip to the West.

Operations Manager Peter Rafter said that it attracted interest everywhere he went.

“On the highway I was getting plenty of waves and every time I stopped at a servo to fill up there were people coming up to have a look at the van.”  Mr Rafter said.

The Motorhome will now continue the journey to the South West.  High on the agenda will be this weekend’s Adrian Vowles Cup, under 14 carnival in Charleville.

Pictured here with Central West Chairman, Dave Kerrigan and Broncos fan Vivian Johnson the Motorhome is parked in Barcaldine in front of the Tree of Knowledge.

Having already stopped in Ilfracombe, Winton and Blackwater, it will continue the onward journey during March to make additional stops at Blackall, Augathella, Quilpie, Cunnamulla, Bollon, Dirrnabandi, St George, Roma and Mitchell.
