This year – the administration of all Women and Girls competitions in South East Queensland has come under the banner of the SEQ Division.

Overall, the competition are run by the Division, however each Local League looks after their area:

Gold Coast
Ipswich
Brisbane

These competitions include:

SEQ Female Division 1
SEQ Female Division 2

SEQ Female Under 18
SEQ Female Under 15
SEQ Female Under 13

*The SEQ Female Division 1 and Division 2 competitions were previously referred to as the Brisbane and District Women’s Rugby League competition.

The female game is growing at a great rate in the south east – with more females taking up the opportunity to play the game.

SEQ Competitions:

SEQ Female Division 1 – six (6) teams competing
SEQ Female Division 2 – 10 teams competing

SEQ Female Under 18 – seven (7) teams competing
SEQ Female Under 15 – 12 teams competing
SEQ Female Under 13 – seven (7) teams competing

This weekend’s matches in the Female Division 1 competition will see Beerwah host Aspley on Saturday, Souths at home to Norths Ipswich also on Saturday and Burleigh to play Carina on Sunday.
