The generosity of the Goondiwindi Boars Junior Rugby League Club came to the fore during a recent Footy Show episode.

At the end of Darryl Brohman’s “Small Talk” segment, the Boars announced they would donate their prize money to two great causes – $500 to the James Ackerman Trust Fund and a further $500 to Central Division Drought Relief Fund.

“This was a wonderful gesture by a small junior footy club,” Central Division operations manager Michael Jensen said.

“It was even better that The Footy Show and Nissan decided to gift a further $1000 to the club due to the generosity they showed to others. Well done to the Junior Boars.”
