The first annual South East Queensland Women’s Nines competition will kick-off this weekend, with eight teams from across the area vying to take out the honours.

The tournament will take place on Sunday at Bora Ring, Banyo and is easily accessible by fans of all clubs.

The teams have been spilt into two pools with the two teams who top their pools to play in a final at 3pm.

Cost to get in is Free and gates open at 10am, with junior games playing prior to the Women’s tournament – so make sure you head down and watch some great Women’s Rugby League action.

The games will serve as a good entry into the SEQ Senior Womens competition which will start on the weekend of April 2-3.
