The severe weather experienced around the south east of the state yesterday has forced a number of game changes in both the Intrust Super Cup and the FOGS Colts Challenge.

Today’s Intrust Super Cup game between the Tweed Heads Seagulls and Ipswich Jets was originally scheduled to be played at Piggabeen Sports at 2pm; but will now instead be played at North Ipswich Reserve at 3pm.

Entry to this game is free.

Two FOGS Colts Challenge games have also been affected.

The Wynnum Manly Seagulls v Sunshine Coast Falcons game originally scheduled for yesterday (Saturday, June 4) has been postponed to Round 20 Country Week, Saturday, July 23 at Kitchener Park.

Similarly, today’s Colts match between the Tweed Heads Seagulls and Ipswich Jets has also be postponed to the same date and will be played at Piggabeen Sports.

There are no times yet for these games.

The weather has also affected tody’s TV game in Townsville where the Blackhawks will be hosting the Norths Devils.

Plane delays in Brisbane mean co-commentator Scott Sattler and statistician Brad Tallon have been held back at the airport.

However, as soon as they arrive in Townsville later this afternoon, Sattler will be off the plane and making his way to join today’s main caller Peter Psaltis and should be just in time to make kick-off.

Don’t forget to tune into Channel 9 from 1.30pm today to catch the action!
