Tomorrow, rugby league fans from across the game will gather in Brisbane for the Men of League Foundation’s annual Queensland lunch.
This year’s theme is Dual Internationals and will feature special guests including some former Queensland Maroons representatives: Brad Thorn, Mat Rogers, Lote Tuqiri, Michael O’Connor, John Brass and Geoff Richardson.
The event will also see the presentation of inaugural Steve Calder Queensland Volunteer of the Year award – named for the late and much loved player, coach and rugby league servant who was the Foundation’s first Queensland Chairman.
Being held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre, the event will help raise funds for the Men of League Foundation and is one of the Foundation’s biggest events of the year.
