Australian Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga and captain Cameron Smith address the media after defeating England in their 4 Nations match.

Meninga thought both teams played hard and said both teams had "excellent" starts to the game.

Smith said there were improvements to be made before his side faced off against New Zealand in the final next weekend.

Meninga also gave an update on the condition of Maroons forward Sam Thaiday, who was injured in the match.
