A terrific day of rugby league was played in good spirits on Day 2 (Friday, June 30) of the TJS Services State Junior Championships at the Sunshine Coast.
Following yesterday’s results, the Central Under 14 Boys have all but secured a spot in this year’s grand final following a 34-6 win over SEQ White.
All eyes will be on the battle between SEQ’s Green and White teams and the Central v Northern clash to see who will take on the Crows in tomorrow’s decider.
Central’s Under 14 Girls have also followed in the good form of their male counterparts, with two wins yesterday to secure this year’s Under 14 Girls Championship.
It will be a battle of the South East in the Under 16 Boys grand final following wins to both Water Dragons sides in yesterday’s games against Central and Northern, securing the top two spots on the ladder.
In the Under 16 Girls division, South East have an opportunity to all but secure the championship if they can win both halves against Northern this afternoon. Central are also still a mathematical chance of taking top spot if results go their way.
Catch tomorrow's (Sunday, July 2) Under 14 and 16 Boys grand finals on QRL.com.au via the QRL Live Stream page and cheer on the state's best junior rugby league players.
